Q: Does Royal Pizza Franchising (RPF) offer financing?
A: Currently we do not, however, we have preferred lenders to which we would introduce you. Other options include SBL loans, term loans, Alberta Women’s Entrepreneurs’ Program.
Q: When can I expect to be profitable?
A: RPF does not disclose earnings claims. Profitability varies by location, market and franchise management.
Q: How long is the franchise agreement?
A: Five (5) years with a five (5) year option.
Q: What is included in the franchise system?
A: Use of brand name, trade mark, recipes, operating systems and manuals, management programs, design, commissary prepared products.
Q: What is the franchise fee?
A: $35,000
Q: What are the on-going royalties?
A: 6% + 2% (ad fund) = 8% of total gross sales.
Q: Is there a purchasing program?
A: Yes, from the quality controlled commissary.
Q: What are the benefits of the purchasing program from the company commissary?
A: Preferred prices, product quality & consistency, availability, MOST products including meat, vegetables are already prepared i.e. sliced, diced – this contributes to a LOWER LABOUR COST in your store.
Q: Who will design and build my store?
A: RPF will provide the franchisee with design assistance. The franchisee will negotiate with construction contractors.
Q: What type of marketing assistance is available?
A: RPF provides a comprehensive advertising program consisting of social media, radio, billboard, bus bench and specialized advertising campaigns.
Q: Is it necessary to have experience to own a Royal Pizza Restaurant?
A: No, we provide training and support.
Q: Do I need to be involved in the day-to-day operation of my franchise location?
A: At least one owner and/or a designated manager must be involved on a full-time basis (40+ hours a week).
** It is ultimately the responsibility of the franchisee to ensure the consistent delivery of product and service.
Q: What is the training time for a franchisee?
A: It is a comprehensive four (4) week training program.
Q: Can I turn my existing restaurant into a Royal Pizza?
A: Yes, we welcome the opportunity to discuss the re-branding of your current restaurant.
